  1. there was a misunderstanding regarding my buffalo. But it was not your fault , an e-mail was send to the wrong paula or lisa.(dont remember exactly). Luckily I saw it myself. It would also be very nice if you could do your invoicing in Rand opposed to the dollar wich is very unstable. – Comments or suggestions

  8. Only two things, well, maybe 3. I had informed folks there that we would be picking up the trophies ourselves, so wouldn't need a agent. But the agent here (liang?), was notified, and sent the papers. That worked out okay as they gave me copies, that I was able to leave with the F&W people, so they knew it was coming and I'd pick it up, which I did. The airport in my back yard, so to speak. 3 miles, and Liang and F&W and Customs all in the same building, and the freight office across the tarmac about 50 yds, lol. Took me all of 20 minutes to get everything taken care of, and that only because folks in front of me. The other thing was and it's not so much a big deal as a information that. My taxidermist said he sprays the horns with WD40, then brushes them, and does this several times as brings out the true colors. He prefers that to spray painting them. Actually, when we get around to the mounting, he can probably do that anyway, to get the paint back off, though maybe not. MOST people not going to know the difference. You might want to,however, give the WD40 treatment a try and see how you like it . I see I referred to Paula as Lisa. I think you must have a lisa there too. Wish I'd had the foresight to ask about an Nyala cape earlier, as would have had one put in with Ramarco's stuff, as think the Nyala shoulder mount will be good, though will do a "european" mount, for now. I also kinda wish I'd have let Pieter retrieve my Waterbuck cape and horns from the folks who handled them for me in the East Cape. I didn't feel like spending a ton of money on bringing stuff back, but looking back wish I had, as had a "book" waterbuck and a beautiful yellow looking Impala. See the pictures I'll attach.   18. Oxi Logistics and Paula Fernandez were fabulous! I was very nervous about importing African hunting trophies into Australia as there are very strict quarantine and customs regulations. They were extremely professional to deal with and thorough in their paperwork. It took a long time on my end to get agents etc organised, the whole time Oxi logistics patiently waited and helped to answer any questions i had. They swiftly had the items fumigated when needed.   20. Very good communications and customer service. Prices were about 20% higher than I had anticipated (however I had nothing to compare to so had no real baseline - my expectations may have been wishful thinking!). Payment process was a little difficult - I'd recommend going with Paypal (easier, very safe, and for international customers we don't have to deal with our banks not approving credit card transactions due to security concerns and having to deal with those issues). Everything arrived timely and in great condition which is most important. Overall I will most likely use your company's services again when I return to Africa in the future.   23. I had damages to two of the trophies, both that were mounted, and I really didn't get satisfaction from the insurance company that handled my shippment. This was once in a life time trip and I'm sorry to say thet the service getting the crate shipped was excillent but the damages are a mystery to me. There was no damage to the crate at all. The damaged ear will cost about $250. USD to repair and the horn will always be damaged due to it coming loose from it's mounting. – Comments or suggestions

      Dear Mr. Greenwood,

      Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. It is always disappointing when trophies are damaged during transport. In your message you mention two trophies that were damaged it was my understanding that the claim was only for the damaged ear. According to the insurance it is very unusual
      that an ear repair will cost more than $150.00 therefore this is there accepted value. If you could possibly provide me with the quotation from the Taxidermist I will submit this to the insurers and try to obtain a higher value as mentioned in my previous message, without an official quotation I cannot request a re evaluation of the claim. Please also forward me the details and costs of repairs of the other damages, once received I will submit it to the insurers for there comment.
